Salient dates for payment of the final dividend and special dividend are:

In line with the Company’s dividend policy, Exxaro has declared an interim dividend of 2 077 cents per share which was approved by the board of directors on 10 August 2021 and is payable on 4 October 2021
to shareholders who will be on the register on 1 October 2021. 

The interim dividend was declared from profits accrued during the period ended 30 June 2021 and has been declared from income reserves. 

The interim dividend is subject to dividend withholding tax at a rate of 20% for all shareholders who are not exempt from or do not qualify for a reduced rate of dividend withholding tax (net local dividend amounts to 1 661.60000 cents per share).
