Exxaro Resources is proud to announce it has been named the winner of Capital Finance International’s (CFI.co) 2021 Best Sustainable Mining Leadership in South Africa award in recognition of the diversified mining company’s efforts and investment in renewable energy solutions.

The award is in response to Exxaro’s work in realising a regenerative economic model for its mining operations. At the same time, the company is working hard to empower Africans, maintaining high health and safety standards, and investing in renewable energies including wind and solar. The award follows notable events, such as the publishing of Exxaro’s award-winning ESG report in 2020, which have demonstrated the company’s commitment to green business activities.
